Don’t Text and Drive

Don’t Text and Drive

You’re driving down the road and your phone vibrates. You glance at it and see a text message. That couple of seconds you glanced down is enough to cause you to get into a wreck. You’re at even more risk if you actually start to tap out a response.

1 out of every 4 accidents in the U.S. is caused by texting while driving. That’s why many states have made this activity illegal, and Oregon is one of them. So, best to use a dashboard phone mount to keep your phone at the same level as your eyes… on the road. Better still, keep the phone in your pocket while driving. If you need to respond to someone, pull over and do it. It’s just not worth the risk of getting into an accident.
